OUR LOVE STORY: FATIMAH & AZEEZ

 A ROLLER COASTER

I don't think i'd ever stop doing this honestly🤭. Love is such a beautiful thing and i love love LOVE telling people's love story. You know how when you're doing something that is very fulfilling and it just gives you joy and you always want to keep doing it, well that's me. And i hope y'all are loving it so far. Cause i do this for y'all that love love and partly for me because it makes me happy.🤭

Anywho, today we have Fatimah and Azeez who met in 2019 at UNILAG . Fatimah had closed from work for the day when Azeez walked up to her. He basically went straight for what he wanted. He introduced himself and asked her if she was waiting for somebody which she was by the way. Then he told her he wanted her number because he would love to get to know her and well here we are today. That is very very bold and i guess they just are meant to be because if i were her, i most likely wouldn't even answer him. I mean come on,🤷🏽‍♀️with everything going on, somebody comes up to me on the road in the night basically asking me for my number? Let's be honest ladies, how would you react😏? Well like i said, they are meant to be because she liked the fact that he went straight to the point and said what he wanted there and then. They met August of that year which was 2019 and then started dating September. Although because of her schedule, they were not able to see that month so when they did see in September, Man went direct again and asked her out officially. I think i like the way he's very direct sha because if you read some of my other stories especially in David and Glory's story, (https://lovematters04.wordpress.com/2024/05/05/how-we-met-david-glory/) you'd see how i always said go for what you want directly. So he did and it worked for him.🤷🏽‍♀️

NYSC didn't allow them spend time together when they first started dating because she had to go to camp. Can i just say, i support everybody that says they should scrap NYSC cause it's so unnecessary and has lost the initial essence of it. Besides, i didn't find man on camp or during that one year of stress so what was the point? Mtcheww😒😒. Anyway, they were sha able to scale through. Despite all the sweetness i always tell in my stories, love is not always always sweet. There would be times where you and your partner would have fights that may seem like you would never come back from. Trust me i know. And that's one thing i love about this story. She did say that they had fights. Although this kept happening partly because they were having a long-distance relationship so there were clashes. At some point they even broke up. Crazy. But they got back together, and it was at that point they knew that they were going to be together forever. They decided no more breaking up no more serious fights that would affect their lives. And they kept their promises.💜

It was a roller coaster of emotions that they probably had never felt before especially to that extent. But eventually it turned to a beautiful roller coaster ride that makes you scream in ecstasy and feel so much joy and fulfillment in your heart. Been a while i felt that sha. Lol. 🥲The proposal was very private and cute. They had previously discussed marriage though so it's not like it came out from nowhere. You better learn. Make sure you and your partner have talked about marriage before you decide to surprise her or him and then your heart gets broken. Side note, women that propose are so so brave and I love it for them. I’m very much conventional in that regard of the man proposing🤷🏽‍♀️.

In the comfort of their house at midnight, she went to the restroom and then when she came out, she saw him on his knees with a ring and then he popped the question. And obviously, like i always say, she said yes. I mean why else would we be here🤷🏽‍♀️? She wasn't necessarily expecting it in terms of the details of how it would happen, but she knew it was going to happen.

Five years they've been going strong and I'm confident they would continue to grow stronger in their love. Her favorite thing about him is she loves how he calms her and always seems to make her feel like there's nothing to worry about cause she's like me. Worries about every little thing but he always seems to find a solution to everything. He puts her first in everything and doesn't hide anything from him. I pray we all find somebody that calms us down and makes us feel safe cause times are hard and the streets are not smiling. I promise.💀💀

Now we're going to hear from his own perspective. He met her at Access Bank in UNILAG. He had gone to withdraw some money with his friends and then he came across this beauty from the stars. Of course he couldn't just ignore her. He went up to her, they spoke for a few minutes and then exchanged numbers. He tried to reach out to her after that but she did what i most likely would have done LOL🌚. She didn't really give him the vibe he wanted so they didn't really get to talking. After some time, something divine happened and they spoke for a while one night and things just started flowing from then. I call it divine because she was probably doing strong head but they were made for each other so the universe was not about to allow her to let her loose that. They didn't always get along. Remember i said that earlier. They both had things about themselves that they needed to work one individually. So after their major break up which lasted for a couple of months, they used that space to work on themselves so when they got back together, they were fully ready to be in a beautiful committed relationship and they did.

Very briefly, i'm going to add, please note that NOBODY is perfect. We learn everyday, we grow everyday. We may have issues that we may not even notice until somebody else points them out. As long as changing makes you a better person, please be open to change sweet chums.

Before we go, i know most of my readers are women, i am pleading and pleading and pleading with you beautiful women, STAY SAFE. Unfortunately, even in some homes we're not even safe again but PLEASE take every precaution you can to be safe and HOLD GOD tightly whether you're religious or not. PLEASE.
